Meetings with Clergy
Submit your Marriage Request form no later than 6 months prior to the wedding date. This allows sufficient time for your marriage preparation and to prepare any documentation necessary for Sacramental recordkeeping.
In your meetings with clergy, you will have guidance in selecting appropriate Scripture and other elements of the ceremony. Follow these links for appropriate Scripture readings.

Marriage Preparation Workshop
Congratulations on your engagement! One step in planning your marriage in the Church is participation in a marriage preparation workshop often referred to as Pre-Cana. The program used in the Boston Archdiocese is called Transformed in Love.
Transformed in Love prepares engaged couples, and those who are civilly married seeking a convalidation, to build a solid foundation for their sacred and lifelong union; one built on Jesus Christ.
